Verify Your Account


When selling items online, it’s sometimes difficult to know who to trust, who is genuine and who is not. Nobody wants to be ripped off and we’ve all heard horror stories of people who simply disappear offline, taking your money or your stuff with them!  Added to this is the extra complication of checking a buyer is eligible to buy items like Airsoft guns from you.

We want to make things as safe as possible for you, which is why we’ve introduced ‘Verified Users’.

Becoming a Verified User reassures buyers that your name and address information has been recorded, and you are who you say you are.   For sellers it gives the reassurance that they aren’t selling to a minor, and a preliminary check of the buyers Airsoft defence status has been made*.

When your account is verified, you will see a ‘Verified User’ badge displayed in the following areas:

  • On ad listing pages & under your username in the sidebar
  • On your profile page
  • In your dashboard to confirm you are verified

You will also see icons on user profiles and ad listings indicating a users defence status.  Here’s what they are and what they mean:


-User is over 18, but has no Airsoft defence.


User is over 18, and is UKARA registered.

-User is over 18, and is a registered Airsoft site member.


To verify your account you will need to submit some ID documents. We currently require;

  • Photographic ID  – Driving Licence or Passport
  • Utility Bill or Official letter dated within the last 3 months.

To verify your Airsoft defence you will need:

  • UKARA confirmation email, or Scanned copy of site membership card or equivalent, clearly showing your name and expiry date.

Verifying accounts can take up to 72 hours, so please be patient.
